Workshop 1: Mechanisms relevant to repeated dose toxicity. This workshop aims to define mechanisms that are peculiar to repeated dose systemic toxicity. Short presentations will introduce into the topic. Consequences for experimental design will be discussed. |
Workshop 2: Common data management and analysis. The SEURAT-1 cluster will putatively generate a mass of experimental data which will be very diverse in structure and quality. The strategy on how these data will be stored and ultimately analyzed will be discussed in this workshop. |
| 13:30 - 16:00 |
Workshop 3: Definitions and ontology. The generation of a common SEURAT-1 database requires a generally accepted "toxicity" ontology, which is not existent. This workshop will discuss the existent initiatives to generate such an ontology and the strategy of SEURAT-1 in this environment. |
Workshop 4: Test substances. The definition of suitable test substances is one of the most delicate tasks in test development. A "Gold-Chemicals" working group has been established by the ToxBank project to achieve this goal. The demands of the different projects and the criteria of chemicals selection will be discussed in this workshop. |
