THE NEURINOX INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
at the MBC - Molecular Biotechnology Centre - Torino, Italy


NEURINOX, a research consortium funded by the EU, investigates mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly the contribution of inflammation and reactive oxygen species. On 23rd & 24th of September 2015, NEURINOX will be holding a Symposium on mechanisms and novel treatment concepts in neurodegeneration, with a focus on ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis.


The Symposium will be comprised of scientists, patient groups, students, journalists and pharmaceutical industry.

  • While Day 1 is addressed to the General Public: patients associations / students / journalists and will be focused on the 3 main diseases,

  • Day 2 is dedicated to the scientific and industrial communities and is structured around 3 axes:

  • - Disease pathophysiology,
    - Biomarker discovery and personalized medicine,
    - Development of new therapies.
